2022 APSI Scholarships


Dear Colleague,

Happy New Year! We want to remind you that the deadline to apply for 2022 AP® Summer Institute (APSI) Scholarships is fast approaching. Both AP Fellows and AP Rural Fellows applications are due next month.

These scholarships cover some or all the cost of attending an APSI. APSIs offer weeklong, intensive professional development programs where educators can network with peers and learn about tools and resources that inspire success in their Advanced Placement® classrooms.

College Board is offering three competitive scholarship programs, listed below. Teachers at your school may meet the criteria for at least one of these opportunities. Visit the APSI Scholarships homepage to learn more about each and to apply.

AP Fellows: Provides scholarships of up to $1,000 to AP teachers at schools serving underrepresented and/or low-income students.

•

AP Rural Fellows: Provides scholarships of up to $1,500 to AP teachers at rural schools serving low-income students.

•

AP Capstone™: Provides scholarships covering tuition for AP Capstone professional development to AP Capstone teachers at schools meeting specific criteria.

Application due dates are:

February 14, 2022, for AP Fellows and AP Rural Fellows

•

March 4, 2022, for AP Capstone

If you would like your teachers to attend an APSI and have no other source of funding, please share this information and encourage them to apply today.

Our instructors are working hard this week! Fully online is not ideal but they are doing a fantastic job. We have all levels: new to experienced. Next year the goal is to be back in the classroom. Come join us next summer!
