Trapezius 💪 🤔Superficial muscles are located between the deep muscles and the skin, they are considered movement muscles . 😎Superficial muscles can easily be felt for tension, heat and swelling . 😎Superficial muscles are located further away from bone and joints thereby having points of origin and insertion into fascia and other muscles as well as bone. 🍖 The trap muscles in the horse fall into the superficial muscle group .. when pressure begins and never changes with a saddle the pressure affects the superficial muscles then moves to the deeper muscles.
