Supernova Pest Control
Born in the stars, forged by grit, built for the future
We thought that we were going to be signing on with a marketing company yesterday. There were previous meetings, and thought that it was going to be a good fit, but we are deciding to go in another direction.
Part of what is important to me here at supernova, is maintaining our unique brand. Supernova was never meant to be like everybody else - that extends to the way that we want to run ads
We don’t know about you, but the only way that some of these pest control ads could ever convert us, is by simple timing. if we were looking for pest control, and the algorithm knew that, then I would be seeing pest control ads. the timing miiiight get me… but I’d still want to check out all of my options
I’m not looking for a simple conversion. I want to continue to build our brand identity, and really being unafraid to try things out, in a completely different way than what you typical see.
The very first thing that we need, is just videos of the service. We could show this to perspective customers, put it on the website, and really give people a good fee for what we have to offer.
We would also like to provide regular helpful tips to homeowners, even if they don’t hire us for their pest control. There’s a lot of things that you can do around your home to naturally reduce the amount of pest that you see.
I’m not sure how realistic this is, but I actually want to turn supernova into short cartoon clips, where we provide completely over the top reactions to a pest issue, showing that we take things way too seriously here😆
I’m picturing Commander Romeo receiving a call, radioing into the team, he speaks military code, we show up in extreme fashion. Romeo goes straight for the rocket launcher, but we explained that there’s a better way…😂
An idea that I have, is to try to work with a student at Lewis and Clark State College. I’m picturing somebody that is well into the marketing or entrepreneurship program, and that wants to put a feather in their cap early, by showing their expertise here at a small pest control company that is looking for ways to grow. it would be ideal if they had all of the social media apps and knew how to generate a following.
Judy’s pancakes is one of my favorite examples. Judy is some café owner over in Chicago I think. And somehow, I know about her…. because I see her ads all the time, even though we are all the way here in Northern Idaho
Judy’s ads are very interesting, in that you have no idea that it’s an ad when your first watching the video. Initially, it looks like the typical doomscroll content, designed to trigger your attention and fire off those dopamine receptors. Some of Judy’s videos feature things like cars crashing into the side of the building, with her popping out of the rubble and saying it’s me, Judy. Come and get your pancake!!
it might sound ridiculous, but just look her ads up. They are absolutely captivating, at least as far as I’m concerned😆
I feel like this could be an incredible opportunity for somebody that is looking to see what they can do in the real world. If you know of anybody, please send them our way.
Also, looking to hire that technician as soon as we can🚀😆

It feels like the stars are aligned for us here at Supernova: The tug of war between gravity (being a small start up) and nuclear fusion (pressure to grow) have reached a point of critical mass🎇
We are signing on with a marketing agency tomorrow, and it feels like our Supernova moment is closer than ever📈
July is going to be a busy month - We won’t have time to make a new hire or train until at least August, but if you want to start a conversation with us, TEXT us at 208-413-8027.
Pest control is not an easy job (crawlspaces, attics, bending, stooping, carrying sprayer, hot days, etc). If you’re looking for something easy, this probably isn’t it…but…If you are looking for an opportunity to grow with a small company, however, it’s a good time to get involved. We want to promote from within as we grow🤝
Basic Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than one moving violation within the past two years)
• Positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and stay motivated throughout the day
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Dependable, punctual, and professional in both appearance and communication
If you have ever worked in sales, you are highly encouraged to apply! Technician experience is nice, but not required. We can train you from the group up here.

We’re still trying to figure out if Romeo was casting votes, because we’re surprised to see that we finished in the top three.
It’s not that we don’t believe in our work, but we never asked anybody to vote.
It really means a lot that someone would take the time out of their day to do something like that, and we just wanted to say thanks.
Thanks too the people that believe in us, that support us, and recognize what we’re trying to do.
We’re gonna keep doing our best, day in and day out. Huge shout out to Autumn for being a big part of this. We would be nothing without her.
Thank you!
In this video, I discuss my feelings on the “discounts” that are common in the industry🔥
This next chapter is for the underdogs 🤝
When I started in pest control, I almost quit.
I got hired as a door-to-door salesman… and I was the worst in the office.
Two weeks in, not a single sale.
I called my boss and told him I was done.
He convinced me to finish the day.
I knocked two more doors… and sold both.
That didn’t magically make me great.
For the next five years, I was average at best.
But here’s the part that matters—
I was the first one to bet on myself and walk away.
No safety net. No guarantees.
Just a decision to build something of my own.
I ended up in Lewiston, Idaho—somewhere I was never supposed to be.
Then came the turning point: a bed bug–infested motel that nobody else could solve.
That’s when it clicked—
we weren’t just here to do pest control.
We were here to build something bigger.
That’s how Supernova was born🔥🔥🔥
