"Being a great father isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being involved, responsible, and committed! Engaged fathers support their child’s development through play, healthy risk-taking, and help children explore the world in new ways.
Everyday moments with dad help build confidence, connection, and lifelong learning in children. Find more fatherhood activities and resources Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children."

"Being a great dad starts with being a good man. The way you show up in your own life shapes the kind of father you become. Children learn from what you do long before they listen to what you say!
Traits like confidence, courage, dependability, leadership, self-reliance, and integrity all play a role in becoming a strong role model for your children! Find more fatherhood activities and resources Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children ."

We loved getting to be a part of the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children symposium with our wonderful partners from United Way of North Idaho

Our Early Learning Coordinator, Sara, and Executive Director, Erica, have been booked and busy down in Boise attending the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children 's 4th Annual ELC Symposium!

The symposium has provided valuable opportunities to learn, collaborate, and connect with fellow Early Learning Collaboratives from across Idaho — including our "next-door neighbors" at the Clearwater Regional Early Learning Collaborative.

We're grateful for opportunities like these that strengthen partnerships and help us continue advancing early learning efforts for children and families throughout North Idaho!

Join us for a hands-on, one-day institute focused on building strong early math foundations for young children ages 2-5. This opportunity is designed to help educators move beyond activities to understand how children learn math, and how to intentionally support that learning through everyday instruction.

Grounded in Idaho’s Early Math Framework, this institute will focus on practical, classroom-ready strategies that support children’s thinking, language, and problem-solving skills.

Coeur d'Alene | North Idaho College Harding Family Center | Friday, September 25th https://www.idahoaeyc.org/2026-idaho-early-learning-conference

Participants who work with children ages 2 - 5 will receive learning materials for their classrooms upon completion of the institute.
