Worship has become overcomplicated in the American church. In the bible it was about telling stories and it was more about the posture of your body and your heart rather than singing. Our posture should be the same - bowed low before the King because He is greater than we are.

Substitutionary Atonement means that God sent Jesus to use his life as a substitute to pay the debt of sin, which is death. The good news is that Jesus took that on for us. It has already happened and we can live out our faith in that promised hope of what Jesus did. Peace has come, salvation has come, and we have been set free and it was all because of Jesus.
