🌟 SYJTP runs from June 12 - July 21.
🌟 300 rising 10th, 11th & 12th graders in Lexington are matched with local business/organization worksites.
🌟 Youth workers are paid $15/hr by LFUCG.
🌟 Youth work for a maximum 20 hours/week.

As many of us in Lexington will gather around our tables this week to enjoy our annual Thanksgiving feasts, the opportunity to carry on that tradition this year was taken away from many members of the EKY community after they were devastated by extreme flooding in late July. We saw a need gap that desperately needed to be filled, and yesterday we were able to provide 150 Thanksgiving meals to EKY families in need. We are extremely thankful for the support from Community Agricultural Nutritional Enterprises, Inc.- CANE, our donors and volunteers who helped make this meal drive so successful!!

A HUGE thank you to Community Agricultural Nutritional Enterprises, Inc.- CANE for drawing EKY community members in need to our Thanksgiving meal drive today and for providing us with a great space to hold our drive. CANE Kitchen, our donors and volunteers made it possible for us to feed 150 families today, and for that we are endlessly grateful!!!!
