VA loans getting a bad rap? Let’s clear that up real quick…
I had a great question this week about VA appraisals and why they sometimes make sellers or agents nervous.

Here’s the reality:
A VA appraisal isn’t a full-blown home inspection — it’s simply a check to make sure the home meets basic safety and livability standards (like what you see here 👇).

That’s it.

The hesitation usually comes from the idea that VA deals are “harder” or come with excessive repair demands — but most of what’s required are things that would come up in ANY transaction anyway. And let’s not forget — VA buyers are often incredibly strong, well-qualified buyers.

✨ Bottom line: don’t let outdated misconceptions cause you to overlook a solid offer.
