"The Yard" is taking shape!

Opening mid-summer, this half-acre greenspace sits between The Station and The Rail and becomes the first publicly activated piece of The Commons.

It gives the district a full summer runway before The Rail opens in Fall 2026, building momentum early and turning the site into an active destination.

Live music, watch parties, outdoor dining, and community events are layered into one space that connects the entire district.

This isn’t just green space. It’s the connective tissue that turns separate buildings into a real place people move through, gather in, and come back to.

First, look at the short-term rental experience coming to The Commons, located inside our retail and restaurant building, now officially named The Station.

Located on the second floor above ground-level retail and dining, these themed short-term rentals sit adjacent to The Rail performance venue, drawing inspiration from the site’s railroad roots and the energy of the entertainment district.

Each unit theme reflects a different piece of Kentucky’s culture and history, including Vintage Athletics, Bourbon, Acoustic, Outdoorsman, Equestrian, and Old Railroad.
