We're honored to share that GBI has been selected to present at the 2026 Kentucky Symposium for Maternal & Infant Outcomes, one of Kentucky's leading maternal health conferences.

Our session, "The Purple Pathway: Bridging Gaps in NICU Access and Maternal Care," will showcase how community-based solutions can strengthen maternal and infant health by addressing the barriers families face beyond the clinical setting.

Through innovative programs like Granny's HUB, Doula Dash, Doula Tech®, and coordinated postpartum support, GBI is demonstrating how transportation, care coordination, and trusted community relationships can improve access to care, support NICU families, and strengthen outcomes for mothers and babies across Kentucky.

This opportunity reflects what we've always believed: the communities closest to the challenges are also closest to the solutions.

We're grateful to the Kentucky Maternal Morbidity & Mortality Task Force and the Kentucky Perinatal Association for creating space to share community-driven strategies that can be replicated across the Commonwealth.

Together, we're building stronger systems of care—one family, one partnership, and one community at a time.

💜 Birth with Belonging.

🌱 PR Health: Farm Rx 🌱

The PR Health: Farm Rx Community Garden is an innovative food-as-medicine initiative created by Project Ricochet in partnership with the Lexington Housing Authority.

Located at the LHA Sixth Street Office in Lexington, Kentucky, this community garden is more than a place to grow herbs and vegetables. It is a living investment in healthier communities, where nutrition, education, and prevention come together.

Research continues to demonstrate that access to fresh fruits and vegetables plays an important role in supporting cardiovascular health, reducing chronic disease risk, and improving overall well-being.

Through Farm Rx, we're helping transform underutilized space into a community resource that promotes wellness one harvest at a time.

Together, we cultivate:

🌿 Fresh herbs and produce
❤️ Cardiovascular wellness
🥕 Nutrition education
🤝 Community engagement and volunteerism
🌼 A healthier, more resilient Lexington

This is just the beginning. We look forward to growing alongside our residents, partners, and volunteers as we continue building healthier futures through the power of food, education, and community.

PR Health: Farm Rx: Prescribe. Plant. Prevent.

Thank you to our valued partner, the Lexington Housing Authority, for helping make this vision a reality.
