Hey hey, Mamas! Another great Saturday spent with each other! I am loving how organic this group is. Easy conversation about raw, real life. I hope you’re each feeling supported and uplifted when you leave.

A good backpack diaper bag is must have to get you through your days as a new, or even, experienced mama. Below is my (Keisha) recommendation. This is directly from the site, but I bet you can find a good second hand bargain somewhere. This bag was literally one of my favorite items when I was still in the diaper bag gang. My husband and I both carrried this bag for probably 3+ years. Let me know if you have any questions.

In motherhood and life, most things, are trial and error. We do our best to be responsive and adaptive…when things need changing, we change them. We pivot. At BBC, we have been listening to the needs and wants of our mamas, and we are pivoting to serve you better. On the fall schedule, we are introducing a new community for mamas:

The Chaos Collective!

If you are a mama, mama-to-be, or trying, you belong! You don't have to be perfect to show up here; this is where mama comes for calm, community, and coffee!

Chaos Collective meets every Saturday from 11:30 am - 1 pm at the Bluegrass Birth Collective home base at 278 Southland Dr, unless otherwise posted in our private Facebook group.

Each week we provide time and space for our community to connect with coffee, tea, and light snacks, play time for babies and toddlers, and discussion time for mamas. Some weeks we have a short program on requested topics like essential baby gear, baby-friendly cleaning products, self-care strategies for mamas, etc.

New group members are welcome at any stage of motherhood, pregnancy, or while trying to conceive. If you are a mother, or are preparing to be, and feel the urge to be in community with other mamas, this place is for you.

While our Toddler Mom Huddle Up meets every Tuesday from 9:30 am - 11 am, the first meeting of each month is at Bluegrass Birth Collective, where we will have a short program followed by community connection time with coffee, tea, and light snacks.

The following weeks, meetings will take place at different, toddler-friendly places around Lexington and we will post those places and address in our private Facebook group. Please stay in contact with us there for details.
