🚧 Behind the Tape: A Sneak Peek at Our Newly Expanded Assembly Space
There's nothing like that "new building" smell. It conjures a sense of opportunity, productivity, efficiency, capacity. We're grateful for the hard work from our operations team, and an army of skilled trades contractors, as we turn this space over to production.
In a few weeks, this space will be packed with a 40-robot automated assembly line for Electric Vehicle powertrain electronics.

Featured here are three Fanuc M710iC robots on a single Gudel servo RTU. Heavy-duty Schunk actuators provide the gripping power and precision for this demanding EV assembly application. Engineered robot dress-out is a Kinemetrix standard for high reliability under full range of motion.
Carefully interlocked overlapping work zones allowed maximum flexibility. This was key to allowing equipment design to proceed concurrent with an evolving product development. Agile Automation comes through again.
These robots are now on our customer’s factory floor, ready to get back to work.

ROBOTS ARE GOOD GUYS.
This most recent shipment from FANUC is part of an advanced 20-robot modular assembly system. The system assembles EV drivetrain components. Our customer ordered this second assembly line as a result of market success using their first Kinemetrix Agile Assembly system.
Each of these robots have a productive future ahead. Some will go forward to dispense highly accurate adhesive beads using our integrated servo-dispense technology. There will be assemblers. Many look forward to a career in screwdriving. A few will make tens of millions of micro-welds. Some will use our Agile3D™ robot guidance technology to perform “impossible” tasks.
All of them will serve their community and contribute to making Kentucky a hub for advanced manufacturing.
