Spring training wins are piling up for the San Francisco Giants.
But inside the clubhouse, a much bigger battle is still unfolding.
With Opening Day just days away, the team must finalize one of the most important decisions of the preseason — who will actually make the roster.
Under new manager Tony Vitello, the Giants appear energized and confident. Big names like Rafael Devers, W***y Adames, and Luis Arraez could headline a lineup that looks very different from previous seasons.

Before he ever stepped into a Major League clubhouse, Christian Wonders was studying baseball in his front yard.

Another night it was Greg Maddux’s two-seam fastball.
They didn’t know it at the time, but those backyard experiments were teaching the same aerodynamic principles that modern baseball analytics now studies in detail.
Fast-forward years later, and that curious kid is now helping guide the San Francisco Giants’ pitching staff using advanced data and biomechanics.
And inside the organization, many believe he could become one of baseball’s next great coaching minds.
