As the decline of the bee population continues, the much maligned wasp is poised in the wings as the New Bee of 2025. If you haven’t heard about Wasp Lives Matter, well… it’s because I just coined it.

But I think this could really gain some traction.

Bees Aren’t the Only Pollinators! (Wasp Lives Matter!)

Have you ever wondered why things feel so heavy and hard, like they just shouldn’t be that way? I used to fight so hard against life sometimes, convinced that if I just tried harder, controlled more, or willed things to be different, they would finally fall into place. But the more I resisted, the harder everything became. It wasn’t until life handed me no choice—through exhaustion, heartbreak, and sheer frustration—that I realized the real problem wasn’t the situation itself, but my resistance to it.

Let it be. Those words, once just lyrics in a song I loved as a child, became a lifeline. When I stopped trying to force every outcome, when I accepted what was instead of clinging to what I thought it should be, I finally felt a sense of peace. Not because everything was perfect, but because I was no longer at war with reality. Maybe the real wisdom isn’t in fixing, forcing, or figuring it all out—but in learning to trust that even in the chaos, things are unfolding exactly as they should.
