🎮 That’s a wrap on our Beginner’s Gaming Camp! 🎮

Today was an awesome final day filled with video games, mini donuts, Tropical Smoothie Cafe lunches, and plenty of smiles. The campers had a blast, and it was great seeing everyone having fun, making friends, and enjoying their last day together. Thank you Brandon Campbell for all your support!

A special thank you to our coach, Austin, for helping create such a positive and engaging experience throughout the week. The campers were respectful, enthusiastic, and made this camp a joy from start to finish.

Most importantly, thank you to all of the parents who trusted us with your children this week. We loved getting to know each of them and appreciate your support of the Midlands Gaming Coalition. Watching these young gamers learn and play together has been incredibly rewarding.

We’d also like to give a huge shout-out to the Lexington Leisure Center for providing a fantastic space for our camp and helping make this week possible.

🎮 Day 4 of Beginner’s Gaming Camp is in the books! 🎮

Today was packed with learning, laughter, and friendly competition as our campers explored the world of Minecraft and put their racing skills to the test in Mario Kart. It’s been incredible watching their confidence grow while they make new friends and discover new ways to play, create, and work together.

has been a tremendous supporter of our campers, and we’re incredibly grateful for his partnership and commitment to helping us create memorable experiences for local youth.

🎮 Meet the Teacher: Austin! 🎮

We’re excited to introduce Austin, one of the instructors helping inspire the next generation of gamers!

Austin is a math teacher at Lexington High School and has been passionate about gaming for as long as he can remember. When he’s not teaching in the classroom, you’ll often find him coaching and teaching Super Smash Bros. through the Lex 1 Alliance program, where he helps students build teamwork, critical thinking, and confidence through esports.

His passion for both education and gaming makes him an incredible mentor, and we’re thrilled to have him as part of the Midlands Gaming Coalition team!
