Visionary Welsh Ponies

3 year old Section A Welsh Mountain pony, Visionary Bourbon Rose (Luna) says good morning!

Sired by the imported stallion *Tillybo Casanova and out of my mare Lochinvar Rose Queen.

It’s fun naming these ponies and following some tradition. So far we have Visionary Bourbon Rose (pictured), Lochinvar Rose Queen (dam), *Bengad Rose Hip (grand dam), Bengad Rose-of-Sharon (great grand dam), Bengad Robinia (great, great grand dam) and then continues on to Hendre Rita and Snowdon Rita.

This beautiful pony’s sire is Section A Welsh Mountain pony stallion Farnley Tiber (owned by Severn Welsh) and her dam is a Severn West Wind daughter (also a Section A Welsh Mountain pony).

Her Welsh registered name is A Momentary Springtime. Shes not full Welsh as her grand dam was an Arab cross.
