We’ve met so many wonderful people so far at the United States Pony Clubs Festival here at the Kentucky Horse Park ! We’ve been so impressed by everyone’s enthusiasm and have met so many knowledgeable young equestrians, many of whom are OTTB lovers just like us! These two cuties were proudly showing off their SC tattoos ☺️

As a reminder, we’ll be holding an open house at our facility on Saturday the 18th from 9am-3pm so that people can meet our adoptable horses and find out more about our program! We’ll also have some tack and riding apparel for sale, and don’t forget about our Secretariat Center merch!!

Who says training only happens in the arena? 🌳🐴

Over the past several days, our horses have been enjoying hacks around the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park, and they’re loving every minute of it!

These rides are about so much more than stretching their legs. Hacking helps our Thoroughbreds experience new sights and sounds, build confidence, and continue developing the skills they’ll need for successful second careers.

It’s one of our favorite parts of the retraining process, and one of the many reasons we’re so fortunate to call the Kentucky Horse Park home. ❤️
