It has long been assumed that healing begins with validating our emotions.

Validation alone says:

"I see that fear is here."

"I notice the sadness."

"It makes sense that I feel overwhelmed."

This is good.

But the Realm suggests there may be another step.

Love.

Glitter as beauty.

Glitter as dragonfly wings.

Glitter as horse whiskers.

Glitter as the laughter that somehow survives alongside grief.

Love says:

"Of course you're hurting."

Glitter says:

"Come sit by the fire anyway. The butterflies brought cookies."

Perhaps healing is learning to greet every season with reverence.

To pour a cup of love and glitter over whatever arrives.

And to remember:

you were never the storm.

You were always the Realm.
