Medusa's Revenge is a female MC he fell first romantic suspense story from the Mayhem Makers: Valkyrie MC by Jaime Russell. This book starts off dark and just gets darker. When truths are revealed it changes everyone.
Noah moves to town escaping his father and being a lawyer to follow his dream of being a mechanic just as trouble hits town. Noah starts working for TJ and that's when he meets his sister the local MC President Medusa. Medusa is currently dealing with a lot with the club and handling her little sister Michelle who has been pulling away from everyone to be with her boyfriend. Noah is an outlet for Medusa until he gets hurt by her enemy and she realizes he means something to her. The man who murdered her father was finally coming for her 15 years later and it was going to be a fight to the death.
I gave this a 4-star rating and a 3-spicy rating. This was my first Jaime Russell book and I love her writing style and how empowering she made the group of women we meet. They are so relatable and realistic with issues everybody has and that was refreshing. Without giving anything away the only disappointment that I had with the book was what happened to Michelle at the end, I wanted more I guess. I do hope that we get more from this series because I will for sure be reading them!

🎅Naughty Santa Daddy Anthology 🎅

The Naughty Santa Daddy Anthology is written by a group of amazing authors (too many to name!) who are attending the MMM25 book signing event. When I got the book and saw how it was written I was taken aback and instantly skeptical about how good of a read it would be. Usually, anthologies have small stories written by each author involved right? Well, not this one. Each of the authors involved has written a chapter of a continous story and there are two stories in this book. I've already read most of the authors in this book and some have really different writing styles so that's why I was skeptical about how well it would be. I can say by the end I was pleasantly surprised by how well the story continuously flowed and you would think it was written by a single author not twenty-nine of them.
The first story is Braxton and Alessandra and gives us an MC/Mafia plot. This was the story I liked the best. A chance meeting by being forced to Volunteer as a Santa and elf set off a chain of events that had me laughing, crying, getting mad, and hot, I must say. If this story continued I would be reading it for sure.
The second story is Massimo and Hadley in a mafia single-dad damsel in distress plot. This story was darker and a bit more in-depth with the backstory. Hadley is a child trafficking victim who has done everything to forget her past horrors until Massimo finds her with her past right behind him. Hadley was my favorite character in this book. She's just the type of character you root for and aren't surprised when the nice sweet girl doesn't need a man to take care of business because she can do it herself.
I applaud all the authors who put these amazing stories together for us to read. It's the perfect Christmas season book for us readers this year.
