Today, I want to take a moment to honor a remarkable man who changed my life forever—my track coach. Your unwavering belief in me and relentless support pushed me to reach heights I never thought possible. When no other school saw potential in me, you did. You believed in my dreams and opened the door to opportunities I could only imagine.

Thanks to you, I proudly became EWU’s first All-American in track and field and the first All-American in school history across any sport. Six times I stood on that podium, and each moment was a testament to your guidance and dedication.

Life would have been so different without you. Your passion, encouragement, and commitment to excellence inspired me not just as an athlete, but as a person. I will forever be grateful for the lessons you taught me and the belief you instilled in me.
