Growth happens over time! If you don’t give yourself moments every day you may miss it! Take some time day to day and focus on your potential. Just like plants if you put yourself in a good environment and root yourself in goodness you’ll thrive!

In recovery I typically shy away from non evidence based terms such as clean or sober but sobriety has shown me that growth happens even when you aren’t seeing it. Maybe you’re too busy focusing on whether or not you’re growing that you miss the growth over time. That is what Growbriety has been all about. Slowing down and seeing that growth has been happening. Then we compare what has happened in the lives of our people while the plants have been showing us they have been growing. Clean would usually be a word you don’t hear me say but these loofah plants will soon start producing natural loofahs that will be used to get us clean! Not just us but dishes, our cars, the coffee pots from our meetings, the people using the showers at Wings! So much potential from a few plants. Think about the amount of lives impacted from growth! It’s astonishing!

Come see me tomorrow at the Lima Farmers Market. I’ll be set up and ready to serve you by 9am. It’s been a hot week but I have enjoyed the growth and this evenings harvest. I know you will enjoy the fruits of my labor of love!

Things are looking great for tomorrow’s harvest. Saturday we will have Collards, spinach, jalapeños, and perhaps a limited selection of lettuce! Come see us at the Lima Farmers Market at UNON racer station from 9-12!
