The Met

WOW!!! So many great memories from last night with so many friends. There are going to be a lot of tears this evening....probably b/c we are going to run out of beer and wine.....That is the plan.

Rob stopped off at Steve Myers Service for a little help to make sure the equipment was ready and primed so the Met looks good for our last weekend. Can’t thank Caleb and Mariah and the entire staff for always treating me so well and having all of our landscaping and garden tools in tiptop shape. Their Weedwhackers and blowers keep things looking tidy, and their heavier duty garden tools helped us produce some really nice food for the menu in the summertime, especially our tomatoes.

Rob couldn't make it back early last night but, he did close the Met with Nicole as the staff had a picture tribute to each other that brought all of us there last night to tears! Kelli and Lily had their last night as well. Gonna miss those two.

Rob, Nicole and The Met have been HUGE supporters of Lima City Schools academically and athletically for 15 years. As many of you know, Rob & Nicole and now, Els, coach softball at Lima Sr. and the Lady Spartans took two in The Glass city from rival Bowsher yesterday afternoon, putting them in a good position to make it to the Championships at the University of Toledo on May 19th. Go Spartans. John from Capwear also made some great Farewell Tour shirts for the Staff and patrons if they want a little piece of swag for remembrance this final weekend. Staff will have theirs on. WE BELIEVE IN LIMA!
