ABA Basketball

We are thankful to add Sierra Votaw as Director of ABA/ARISE Basketball. Sierra is not only a former D-1 basketball standout at Mercer University, a 2 x state champion assistant coach at Lincoln Christian School, but most importantly a strong Christian leader and role model for youth!

“While my worth and identity rest in Christ alone, basketball has been a tool that’s shaped my character, strengthened my faith, and taught me the meaning of perseverance. I’m deeply grateful to step into this role and be part of a program that exists not only to develop athletes, but to build disciples — using the game of basketball as a vessel to share the love and truth of Jesus Christ. My hope is that every player who wears an ABA/ARISE jersey not only grows as an athlete, but also encounters the Gospel and comes to know their identity in Christ. As Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” I trust God is already at work. I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity, and I can’t wait to see all that He has in store for ABA/ARISE.”
