Congratulations to Sahand, one of today’s featured . After graduation, Sahand will “continue pursuing roles in industry, ideally ones related to materials science and process engineering. I’m especially interested in work where I can apply what I learned during my PhD journey to solve practical engineering problems.”

He noted his “favorite memory is from the HiRe-ME (High School Research in Molecular Engineering) summer camp with high schoolers, where we as officers of the electrochemical society (ECS) student chapter did fantastic teamwork. We carried out some interesting electrochemical experiments and were able to interest high school students in electrochemistry. Later, it was featured in ECS’s global journal and we received great feedback.”
