Nebraska Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine

PPVM students recently practiced foundational physical examination skills during their Veterinary Foundations lab. 🐕

Using models and simulators, students practiced abdominal palpation, otoscopic examinations, and a**l gland expression. They also used a heart and lung sound simulator to identify normal and abnormal sounds heard during thoracic auscultation before putting their listening skills to the test on live dogs.
