Registration is open for our "I Love to Write (1+2)" and "We Love to Write" summer workshops!

The I Love to Write/We Love to Write Workshops are a series of summer writing workshops for youth and families to write in a supportive environment. This year’s workshops will focus on a variety of writing styles, strategies, genres, and activities. Sessions will meet on the UNL Campus for a week in June. The Celebration of Writers Ceremony is held on Saturday at the end of the week. These workshops are led by Sandra Peter and Susan Dinsdale, experienced teachers of writing, and the camp is sponsored by the Nebraska Writing Project.

The question this year's Advanced Institute wants to take up?: How can we ethically, ecologically, critically, and curiously take up the issue of AI in education?

Have you been wondering how AI influences your classroom, and what you can do about it? Join us this summer, where together, we’ll explore what AI means for our work in our teaching and our own writing.

The application window is open for any teachers interested in participating in NeWP's AI on AI this summer! See our website for more information!
