Week 2 Leaderboard has arrived!
What an incredible two weeks. Together, our community has already moved more than 25,000 miles, raised over $140,000, and continues to prove what’s possible when people unite behind a shared purpose. 🦿🦾
Congratulations to this week’s top individuals and teams for leading the way in both miles moved and fundraising.
P.S. All rankings reflect totals recorded as of 12:00 PM (noon) ET on Tuesday at the close of Week 1. Activity and donations received after that time will appear in next week’s leaderboard!
Every advocate has a reason for joining the So Every BODY Can Move movement. Today, we’re honored to introduce Megan Lyons Hinkle , Co-State Lead for SEBCM Virginia !
Megan and her husband, Eric, became involved in SEBCM because of their daughter, Ellie, who was born with a limb difference and is learning to navigate the world with a prosthesis she’ll rely on throughout her life.
Ellie is brave, funny, and full of possibility. What will shape her future most isn’t her limb difference. It’s whether she has access to the prosthetic care she needs to move, play, compete, and fully participate in life.
As Megan shares, sports gave their family confidence, resilience, and community, and they want Ellie to have those same opportunities. No one’s potential should be limited by what an insurance company decides is “medically necessary.”
Megan is living that commitment every day. She’s completed her 28 minutes of movement each day of the challenge so far and has already raised more than $1,250 to help advance SEBCM in Virginia.
Every mile, every donation, and every advocate is helping fuel this movement toward a future where everyone has access to the mobility care they need to thrive. 🧡

Week 1 of the #28×28MobilityChallenge has been nothing short of incredible 🦾!
Together, more than 1,200 participants have already moved over 10,000 miles and raised more than $120,000 to help advance the So Every BODY Can Move movement.
Every mile, every minute, and every dollar is helping redefine what’s considered medically necessary and bringing us closer to our goal of passing legislation in 28 states by the LA28 Paralympics.
A heartfelt thank you to Tamarack Habilitation Technologies, Inc. for being such an incredible partner over the years and stepping up to be our Week 1 Mobility Sponsor! Their unwavering commitment to maximizing mobility, independence, and human performance reflects exactly what this movement is all about.
We are incredibly fortunate to have Cole A. Carlson, PE, CEM and the entire Tamarack HTI team on this journey with us. Thank you for believing in our community and investing in a future where everyone has access to the mobility care they need.
On to Week 2. Let’s keep the momentum going! 💙

Movement Moments
One of the most inspiring parts of the has been seeing what movement looks like across our community. 🧡🦾🦿
We’ve watched people run, roll, swim, bike, dance, hike, lift, practice yoga, paddle, play sports, and so much more.
Every mile, every minute, and every movement tells a story.
That’s exactly what this challenge is about: celebrating that movement looks different for every BODY, and that every person deserves access to the prosthetic, orthotic, and mobility care they need to move in the ways that matter most to them.
Keep sharing your movement moments. You’re not just inspiring others. You’re helping redefine what “medically necessary” means and building momentum toward our goal of 28 states by the LA28 Paralympics.
Let’s keep moving. Together. 🦾

Everyone has a reason. Every reason matters. 🧡
Behind every mile, every workout, every push, every roll, and every minute of movement is a why.
For some, it’s reclaiming independence. For others, it’s honoring a loved one, improving their health, supporting a family member, or helping ensure people with disabilities have access to the mobility care they deserve.
Our why is bold: 28 states with So Every BODY Can Move legislation by the LA28 Paralympic Games. Together, we’re changing outdated insurance policies so people with disabilities can access the prosthetic, orthotic, and mobility care they need to work, be physically active, shower and bathe, and fully participate in life.
Throughout the 28×28 Mobility Challenge, we’ll be sharing the powerful stories and “whys” from our community. Every story reminds us that this movement is about so much more than exercise. It’s about ensuring mobility is recognized as a human right.
✨ What’s your why? Share it on the community page or in the comments below. We’d love to feature your story and celebrate what moves you.
Happy first day of July-Disability Pride Month!

Tomorrow, we move.
Not just for 28 minutes. Not just for 28 days.
We move to challenge a system that still tells too many people with disabilities that the mobility they need to be active, work, compete, play, and fully participate in life is “not medically necessary.”
Right now, 1 in 2 adults with disabilities get no aerobic physical activity. That isn’t because people don’t want to move. It’s because access to activity-specific prosthetics, orthotics, and mobility equipment is too often denied or simply out of reach.
Tomorrow, we work towards changing that.
Join thousands of advocates, athletes, families, clinicians, allies, and supporters across the country as we kick off the 3rd Annual 28×28 Mobility Challenge.
✅ Move 28 minutes a day for 28 days.
✅ Raise awareness.
✅ Build community.
✅ Fuel the movement that’s redefining medical necessity and expanding access to mobility nationwide.
Every mile. Every minute. Every dollar. Every story moves us closer to a future where movement is treated as a human right.
The challenge starts tomorrow. Let’s make this our biggest year yet.
