UNL Marketing Ph.D. Program

End-of-the-year departmental awards were presented today. Recipients of this year's awards are:

Receiving the Baker Award for Excellence in Service by a Graduate Student was awarded to Bamidele Adeleke. This award is presented to a graduate student who is the “best departmental citizen.”

Receiving the Award for Excellence in Research by a Graduate Student was awarded to Revanth Raghupatruni. This award is based upon their research productivity. The criteria for this award includes number of publications in journals and research presentations at national and international conferences.

The Faculty Teaching Award was presented to Dr. Natalie Chisam.

The Faculty Research Award was presented to Dr. Alok Kumar.

The Excellence in Mentoring Faculty Award was presented to Dr. Thomas Dotzel. This award acknowledges mentoring by faculty of doctoral students and is selected by the Ph.D. students.

The Department of Marketing hosted a luncheon during the last week of classes to celebrate the end of the academic year and present department awards.

The Excellence in Mentoring Faculty Award was presented to Dr. S. Sajeesh. This award acknowledges mentoring by faculty of doctoral students and is selected by the Ph.D. students.

The Faculty Teaching Award was presented to Laura McLeod, Assistant Professor of Practice.

Durgesh Pattanayak and Plavini Punyatoya will graduate in August and were presented with diploma certificate frames.

Incoming Department Chair Dr. Amit Saini recognized and thanked Dr. Ravi Sohi for his seven years as Department Chair.
