I wrote this song as a new believer.
These lines are my prayer for a faithful life with Jesus.

When I said Yes to God and repented, I was saying No to sin and compromise. Resisting compromise is not a one time battle. It is a lifelong wrestling match.

Many issues arise that make going with the flow feel easier and more socially acceptable.

Choose to resist compromise with the world.
Be guided by God’s word and sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Are there times when you go along just to fit in?
Have you ignored pings of warning from the Holy Spirit?

If we continually override cautions from the Spirit, our heart pings get softer and might even go silent.

Accept what God reveals.
Be willing to confess and repent
even if it hurts or friends drift.
Ask God to help you and He will.

Your Storm might be made of physical waters, or fiery emotional waves. Either way Jesus says He will be with you. He will never leave you. Look to Him for help, always.
