That said, you can still get organic goodness and delicious treats about one mile north of Lititz at the Friendly Roots farm store at 322 Newport Road in Halfville (that's halfway between 501 and Elm.) Fresh farm produce, eggs, flowers, honey, cereals, and baked goods — and not to be missed, their soft serve ice cream, which they heartily encourage you to pair with their freshly made-from-scratch, hand-rolled, and butter-dipped soft pretzels.
