As we celebrate America's 250th Independence Day, we're reflecting on just how many of those years our organization has also experienced. The Methodist Family Health continuum of care began its history as the Arkansas Methodist Orphanage in 1899, a mere 123 years after our nation's birthday. Just like America, we've changed to adapt to the needs of those we serve. This flag now flies in the Methodist Children's Home gym as a visible reminder of our nation and organization's history.
We look forward to helping Arkansans who may need our help for the next 250 years. Happy Independence Day!

Celebrations like the 4th of July can be exciting, but it's important to keep in mind how others feel. Loud noises and crowded environments may feel overwhelming or stressful for some children, particularly those with sensory sensitivities or those affected by trauma.
Wishing you a safe and happy holiday from all of us at Methodist Family Health!

School counselors play a vital role in supporting student well-being. And strong partnerships between schools and mental health providers ensure that no student has to face challenges alone.
Methodist Family Health had the privilege of connecting with the Arkansas School Counselor Association at their northeast conference in Jonesboro last week.
Congrats to our door prize winners, Lasha Thomas of Nettleton school and Christen Agee of Paragould School! And THANK YOU to all the school counselors who provide students a safe space to talk and help them access the resources they need.

Happy National Mural Day! 🎨 The murals throughout Methodist Family Health facilities help create welcoming spaces for the children, adolescents, and families we serve.
Art has the power to transform an environment, adding warmth, color, and personality to spaces that might otherwise feel clinical. These murals help create places where healing and hope can flourish.
We're grateful to the artists, volunteers, and supporters who have helped make these projects possible.
Are you interested in helping bring more inspiring artwork to Methodist Family Health? Methodist Family Health Foundation would love to connect with artists and volunteers who want to make a difference through their talents.
Featured in these photos 2-4 are Outpatient & Arkansas CARES Administrator Cyndi Coleman; Recreational Behavioral Instructor Abby Furby, who is shown working on a mural at Methodist Children's Behavioral Hospital in Jonesboro; and the Sumpter family, including Clinical Director Sarah Sumpter and her daughter, Madeline, who designed the mural, along with family members who helped bring it to life.
