Fantasy Balloons

Fiesta got weathered out this morning but Gery said that it was mostly wind. After a long hold, officials said they could fly at their discretion, but he chose not to fly. Meanwhile the America's Challenge Gas Balloon race continues. Follow the progress here

Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta - 2017 Gas Tracking The lead two America’s Challenge gas balloon teams have reached a major milestone -- the Great Lakes in their quest to win one of the greatest races in ballooning by traveling the greatest distance from the launch point in Albuquerque.

We want everyone to know that we have moved to Fort Garland CO. We are not flying from Chatfield State Park now, but are referring our flights to another pilot who flies at Chatfield. Spring in the San Luis Valley - we hear this is unusual and a lot more precipitation than is common for this area. Gery is eager to start flying here.
