I am thrilled to be joining the Suwannee Riverside Elementary family!

For more than 30 years, I have been blessed to serve in education as a paraprofessional, classroom teacher, reading resource teacher, assistant principal, and, for the past nine years, as a principal in Madison County. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to helping students succeed, supporting teachers, building strong relationships, and fostering a positive school culture.

As Principal of Lee Elementary School, I had the privilege of leading our school from a C grade to an A grade. I later transitioned to Madison County Central School, where our school grade steadily improved and this year reached the highest rating in the school’s history. These accomplishments were made possible through teamwork, dedication, and a shared commitment to student success.

Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families is at the heart of everything I do, and I am excited to become part of the Suwannee Riverside community. I look forward to working alongside an incredible team to celebrate successes, create new opportunities, and continue the tradition of excellence that makes Riverside such a special place.

On a personal note, I have been married to my husband, Jimmy, for 29 years and am the proud mother of four children and six beautiful grandchildren. When I’m not at school, you can usually find me spending time with family or enjoying a day of fishing.

I am incredibly excited for this new chapter and cannot wait to meet the wonderful students, families, and staff of Suwannee Riverside Elementary. I look forward to learning, growing, and achieving great things together. It’s going to be a fantastic year! 💛💚
