Today was clearing debris and over growth behind primates and removing a declining pine in Australia exhibit. also clearing palms to address a water leak.

Today at the zoo in Oakland, we were discussing pruning of all of the trees in the lemur exhibit. They can jump 20 to 30 feet so height needs to be reduced and distance from the edges of the enclosure need to be brought in. Also thinning needs to be done so that Visitors can see the animals. Also, while there we will address safety issues.
