What an immense pleasure it has been these past few weeks working with this amazing group of singers at Chamber Choir, where everyday has been a wholesome learning experience for me. Special thanks to our choral director for picking this beautiful piece of music on my recommendation. “ZIKR” is an Islamic chant originally written by and arranged by Ethan Sperry. We took the liberty to modify the sheet music at a few places in order to make it sound more authentic. Sharing a few bits from our performance this past weekend, hope y’all enjoy it.
