We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL (class A) Driver to join our team!

We are a small business located right in Liverpool, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations throughout Central NY. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic laws, and excellent customer service skills. The Driver will operate different types of vehicles ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the freight.

All of our drivers return home to their families each day, no long haul driving required!

Responsibilities:
+Operate various types of trucks including but not limited to a straight truck, trailer, flatbed, etc.
+Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
+Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
+Ensure that cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
+Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and operational procedures.

Requirements:
+Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.
+Proven experience preferred.
+Familiarity with operating various types of trucks.
+Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the trucking industry.
+Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
+Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
+Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.

Some Responsibilities of a Logistics Coordinator Include:

-Overseeing & optimizing driver's routes to ensure cost effectiveness & efficiency on a daily basis
-Constant communication with customers & drivers throughout the day via phone and email
-Proactively addressing issues & implement immediate solutions
-Start time is 6am M-F

-Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication
-Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
-Excellent customer service and client relations skills
-Outstanding organizational and time management skills
-Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory, accounting and communication purposes

-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
-An understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
