Hey everyone! It has been a long long time since we have made a post. I'd love to hear from you! After much consideration and thought process, I have decided to no longer pursue meteorology as a career of choice. The math got way too hard and I think there's a difference between liking what you do and loving it. My heart wasn't completely in it. Currently I'm walking by faith, seeing where God wants me to be. I've thought about a pastoral degree, social work, Intervarsity, IJM, etc,. I would still like to do something with this page though! Let me know if you guys have any ideas! Love you all for making this page happen in the past!

Good afternoon, the weather has been generally quiet around here the past week or so, we've had a bit of a roller coaster with temps and it looks to continue that way through March. I am watching tomorrow night for some isolated severe weather potential. If the threat increases I will have an update out. Look for a line of rain and storms to move through after 10 p.m. tomorrow.

Hey SEMI Weather peeps! Just wanted to check in with you guys! Shoutout to Joe who is doing an amazing job! Keep up the amazing work bro! My second semester at OU is going pretty well! It certainly hasn't been easy but I think its doable. I'm taking Intro to Meteorology II, Meteorology Lab II, Physical Mathematics, Linear Algebra and Interpreting Planet Earth. It's crazy to think that in two years I graduate! :) The weather down here has been very pleasant. In fact, non-Michigan like haha. It's crazy, I haven't seen snow since winter break (back in Michigan)! Not to brag but we are looking at 60's and 70's here in OK with a chance of thunderstorms for a good portion of this next week! Hopefully at some point this spring I can catch a good storm! Maybe even a tornado?! Who knows haha. I love you guys! Stay blessed!

May have overdid the forecast... predicting snowstorms isn't my forte I guess, but i'll keep trying. Those models are just so hard to trust. ALTHOUGH I do expect a lot of closures for tomorrow, even though we didn't get a huge batch of snow south of 8 mile, the freezing rain before hand created some ice under the snow. Looks to be a very slippery and slow commute tomorrow morning.
