An induction, a C-section, a hospital birth, a VBAC, a planned repeat C-section, formula, breastfeeding, pumping…

Someone is always ready to tell women they chose wrong.

But what if we spent less time criticizing women for the choices they make…

…and more time asking why women are making choices within systems that often leave them unsupported, uninformed, rushed, or afraid?

The problem isn’t that women aren’t choosing perfectly.

The problem is that too many women are navigating birth in a culture that puts the responsibility on them — while ignoring the systems shaping their options.

We can support individual choices and work toward better systemic care.

Both things can be true. And I’m here to fight for it.
