🎉 You may have noticed something NEW in the Children’s Room! 🎉

Our Audiovisual Collections for Youth are expanding! Thanks to the grant funding we received last year, here are some of the new collections!

🎧 VOX Books! VOX Books are books that talk! Made by the company Library Ideas, children can now play an auditory speaker that is in the book, while they turn the pages and read! These resources are great for kids who benefit from auditory learning and want to listen and read the book at the same time!

🎧 Playaways! Made by the company Playaway Products, Playaways are like an MP3 player! They come with a battery. All you have to do is plug your headphones in and listen to a book anywhere on the go! It’s great for walks, chores, you name it!

🎧 Launchpads! Launchpads are also made from the company Playaway Products. They’re pre-loaded learning tablets with educational games on them! We have a variety of learning topics! They’re great because no WiFi is required, no download times, screened for education and specific theme/topic learning and has recommended ages on them!

All of these resources are FREE and available to borrow with a library card! Please speak to a staff member if you have any questions. We thank all the organizations who made these Youth Enrichment resources possible!
