𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝑩𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑽𝒐𝒕𝒆! MidAmerica hasn't been honest with us about who can and cannot take advantage of the TIF. David Stewart, MAIP CAO, told members of Oklahomans for Transparency at the beginning of 2022 that MidAmerica could use the TIF for 𝐀𝐍𝐘 company once it passes. Yet, he repeatedly told our County Commissioners it would only be used to lure a specific company (although kept secret at the time, it was later disclosed to be Panasonic).

𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐞𝐫𝐬.𝐜𝐨𝐦 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭:
"If, for some unlikely reason, the TIF passes and Panasonic chooses not to come, then the TIF could be enacted at a later date and applied to another company as long as they identify themselves as "Project Ocean".
