Kidney For Kabir

This is kidney disease. High blood pressure is one of the many side effects of kidney disease. Although I take many medications to manage my symptoms, maintaining a healthy blood pressure seems to be impossible for me. Due to my ongoing high blood pressure, the wall of my heart is beginning to thicken. This can lead to a series of critical health complications and I hope it does not interfere with my ability to get a transplant. Next week I have two appointments with a GI specialist to make sure there is no internal bleeding and a cardiologist to look at my heart. I’m scared and I feel like I’m never going to get a kidney. The stress does not help manage the blood pressure either, so the worry seems unending. If you are able to donate to help cover costs for my specialists appointments I would greatly appreciate it. I have not gone outside much since shelter-in-place was implemented in California, but yesterday I got to feed horses 🐴! It was very beautiful, serene, and lovely. We drove to a country road and it was so peaceful. How are you doing during quarantine?
