It’s a little over one year since I came back to work for the Legislature, there’s an overwhelming sense of fulfillment as I’m tackling challenging issues to help our K-12 students.

For almost 8 years, I worked exclusively on Public Safety, Technology, and Local Government issues and LOVED it.

This year, I’m working to help improve STEM pathways for student and access to college, reduce administrative burdens for small school districts, and remove sexually explicit material from our PK-8 school libraries.

Such an important year, and I’m LOVING the challenge.

I’m volunteering for a nonprofit that is putting on the Lodi Halloweenfest 2023 at IDOL Beer Works on October 28!

I’ll also be playing drums for my band December Pilot as things start getting dark and spooky 🤙
