York Center Fire Protection District

The Joseph Hartmann Award by Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove is given annually to paramedics and fire districts who exhibit extreme care and rescue in a pre-hospital setting.

We are pleased to announce that the York Center Fire District is the recipient of the 2026 Dr. Joseph Hartmann Award for Medical Excellence in the pre-hospital environment.
