Yes, I’ve been AWOL, but am still running the one-man-show!

Last week was kind enough to open the doors for the industry and have us taste through the lineup. As usual, the wines do not disappoint! Stellar lineup of burgundies.

Was stoked to run into my brother, my doppelgänger, and all around great guy Brian and so many others friends that I hadn’t seen in far too long!

First event of the Year!
Volun-poured a few of my newest releases for . Today seemed to be all about the Marsanne, except for those in the know who asked what was under the table 😉

Last night was the Club party, Kyle Knapps boutique label. You’ve no doubt tasted his work before, as he has been the Winemaker for Stolpman longer than I can recall. The wines showcased their food-friendly structures with the accompanying food catered by none other than the best, .

I walked with the ‘23 Robert Rae Ranch Syrah and ‘22 Nolan Vineyard Mencia :) If you haven’t had Press Gang yet, you need to get yourself some!

Took a break from Harvest to pour for the this weekend. put together an amazing event, which was located right on the beach! Truly an amazing event, and if you have option to stay at Paséa you need to do it! The hospitality was 100% on point.

Huge shout out to Angela for covering the winery work while I was gone. We have such an amazing group of wineries on D street, and I’m so thankful for how everyone comes together when needed a la “rising tide”.

About the other night…

They have the COOLEST tasting room in Solvang, right on the corner of Mission/246 and Alisal. Aside from the epic ambience (which I failed to document), they have a lineup of killer small batch wines. Their sparkling may be on of my current fav’s in the Valley!

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing City Council candidate Steve Bridge for the better part of five years. During this time I have seen him as a volunteer, community leader, small business owner, caring family man, donor of time and money, officer in local organizations, long time resident, and friend. He has a passion for our Lompoc community and the drive to accomplish the tasks he undertakes. I’m thrilled to see the work that will be done with Steve as a member of our City Council, and I support and endorse his candidacy.
