Dear Clear Vision Optometry Patients,
We hope and pray that this message finds you and your families safe and well during these challenging times. Our goal in this message is to communicate the following:

1. Our office is open for business.

2. What our office protocols are in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Optometric Association (AOA) to keep our patients and staff safe.

Starting Thursday June 18, 2020, our office hours will be:
Monday through Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm.

We are closed for sanitizing the office from 12:45pm to 1:15pm Monday through Thursday, therefore, we apologize if we do not pick up the phone or answer the door during that time frame.

Friday: 8:30am to 3:00pm.

Our office protocol in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Optometric Association (AOA) to keep our patients and staff safe:

1. We ask that if possible, you arrive to your appointment by yourself. If the patient is a minor child, we ask that only one parent and NO OTHER SIBLING accompany the patient.

2. When checking in for an appointment , picking up glasses or contact lenses or for any other reason, please call our office at (805) 819-0742 once you arrive in our parking lot and remain in your vehicle until our office staff comes to your vehicle to tend to your need.

3. EVERYONE who enters our office will be asked screening questions, must wear a face covering and be prepared to get your temperature taken.

4. Upon entering our office, we ask that you use hand sanitizer provided that is by the door and/or in the pretesting room and/or in the optical area.

5. Please turn OFF your cell phone unless an emergency and minimize conversation among yourselves and/or the staff.

For your added safety, rest assured that the glasses and contact lenses that are delivered to you, have been sanitized with either 70% Alcohol and/or Hydrogen Peroxide. In addition, every member of our staff and doctor have been tested negative for the COVID-19 virus. Every staff member takes their temperature daily and is logged.

In 1994, Congress designated the Martin Luther King, Jr. national holiday as a day of service to encourage people to "make it a day on, not a day off". We encourage all of you to honor this day by going out and volunteer for your communities.
