We've heard some confusion, so we want to provide an important update: As of today, the 4% reimbursement rate cuts to 1915(c) Medicaid Waivers HAVE NOT BEEN REVERSED.

While the Governor recently reversed decisions to make cuts to programs administered through the Department for Behavioral Health, those decisions do not apply to the 4% Medicaid Waiver reimbursement rate cuts. The Waiver rate cuts fall under the Department for Medicaid Services and remain scheduled to take effect on 8/1.

Our work is far from over. These cuts would have serious consequences for our Waivers and the Kentuckians with significant disabilities who rely on them.

Now is the time to speak up! Contact Governor Beshear and urge him to reverse the 4% Medicaid Waiver reimbursement cuts before they take effect.
