A little to this logo I designed for the MOSTe virtual walkathon this summer. .girls (Mentoring Our Students Through Experience) empowers girls in underserved neighborhoods of Los Angeles County to become the next generation of college-educated women. Even though there were many challenges with COVID-19 guidelines, fundraising still needed to happen. These girls were still persisting toward their college goals, so the organization adapted by developing a virtual fundraising walkathon. I was inspired by their ambitious mission, giving this logo a clean, energetic, and optimistic icon depicting the virtual nature of the event. This logo had to convey "Girls moving forward toward college graduation."

Whether you spell it “donut” or “doughnut,” there’s no doubt donuts are one of the best sweet treats there is! We even have a holiday every June for the Salvation Army volunteers that took donuts and coffee to soldiers in France in the trenches during World War I. What’s your favorite donut?? 🍩
