"Won't you miss a steady paycheck?"

Probably one of the most anxiety-inducing questions people ask you when you tell them you're opening your own business or going freelance.

A few things tho:

🦄 Who says I can't have a steady paycheck? Monthly recurring revenue is a thing.

🦄 It's both the bad and the good thing about venturing out on your own. Sometimes you don't know when/where your next sale is coming from. Sometimes you make $10k+ in a day.

🦄 Making steady income on your own is a completely learnable, rather simple skill. (Simple, but not easy though. You're going to have to get really good at having a growth mindset, taking radical responsibility, and having healthy coping skills for uncertainty.)
