We would like to express 🙌 our gratitude and honor all of our incredible physicians on National Doctors’ Day. Their commitment and effort in serving our 🇺🇸🇺🇸 Nation's Heroes extend well beyond the VA. Notably, our own Dr. William H. Oldendorf who worked in the Greater Los Angels Healthcare System was a trailblazer in medical imaging 🩻 and served as a Medical Officer in the ⚓️ United States Navy.

At the VA, our physicians not only provide care for 🪖 U.S. Veterans, but their dedication to discovering medical breakthroughs for these heroes in smoking cessation treatment through ni****ne patches, prosthetics, PTSD treatment, telehealth, transplant surgery and coronary bypass surgery has also led to advancements that benefit the entire world.
