As if my page isn't already a Me-A-Thon, may I share a little career milestone? I've been a graphic designer for political candidates and ballot measures since 2008. Those giant postcards that overflow our mailboxes at election time? Some of them are my fault. Sorry. ;o) The American Association of Political Consultants gives awards for the best mailbox cloggers annually, and after 16 years, I finally got a little love. Took Gold in an admittedly minor category, but the bragging rights will last forever.

Oh, my garsh—I'm a retro fashion statement. My very first job as a young graphic designer in 1980s New York City, was updating the logo for Rockaways' Playland Amusement Park in Queens. Just discovered an online company that is selling clothing with my illustration on it. The bad news is: they're passing off the design as their own. The good news is: it's a terrible logo, so I wouldn't want credit for it anyway. ;o)
