When my wife and I got engaged, We found the apartment we would live in together as husband and wife. There was only one problem, it was a wreck. So in exchange for the contents of the fridge and the first months rent, we replaced the floors, an entire wall in the bathroom and painted the walls. I know what you are thinking. Why would anyone want the contents of a refrigerator in an apartment that had been vacant for over a year? Well, as luck would have it, the contents of this particular fridge were a number of expired reels of kodak Super 8 black and white film. What are the odds? With our wedding and honeymoon soon approaching and our cash quickly dwindling, I saw this as the perfect opportunity to be able to shoot my own honeymoon on Super 8.
It’s been a long time coming but a promise is a promise.
